Critical Mass Hires Heidi Skinner as Director of Emerging Media

CALGARY, AB and CHICAGO, IL - Critical Mass has named Heidi Skinner Director of Emerging Media. In this newly created role, Skinner will focus on new media platforms from mobile to gaming, community, and video on demand. These digital channels play well into Critical Mass' experience management work. Critical Mass, an interactive services firm, is a part of the Omnicom Group Inc..

Skinner will lead the emerging media team across Critical Mass' offices in the formulation and execution of campaigns that embrace these emerging channels. Among her responsibilities will be overseeing relationships with emerging technology partners, testing new mediums for branding, lead-generation and CRM initiatives, as well as driving emerging media integration and innovation into client plans.

She returns to Critical Mass where she developed web-driven media initiatives and emarketing campaigns in 2004 and 2005 after directing interactive video distribution and creating multimedia opportunities for the investment team at GM Planworks, a unit of Publicis Groupe's Starcom MediaVest Group. Previously, she worked for BVK/respond360 as a relationship marketing analyst, managing online media programs.
