CALGARY, ALBERTA and CHICAGO, IL -- Critical Mass, the interactive services firm, part of Omnicom Group, Inc., has announced the opening of its London office. According to a report issued by eMarketer in January 2007, e-commerce spending in Western Europe is expected to hit $7.5 billion this year, up 25 percent from $6 billion in 2006, with the United Kingdom projected as the market leader.
"Our new office strategically places us in a position to meet client demand in Western Europe," said Critical Mass Chief Operating Officer Chris Gokiert. "We'll also be able to increase the services that we're currently offering clients from our Geneva office."
The London office's initial staff of twelve will report to Gokiert and be involved in strategy and design initiatives for international clients including Dell EMEA, headed by account director Amanda Johnston, who will lead the strategy on the international clients' accounts and oversee the office's day-to-day management. She will be joined by senior art director Marc Erickson and senior copywriter Rhiannon Davies.
